WOW its been forever since I have updated this thing. I am not sure who even reads it anymore but thats ok...

Kaiden had his 2 month check up lastweek Friday. He is growing well, he is 10 lbs 11 ounces and 21 inches long. He is starting to smile and coo and he is lifting up his head amazingly well. He loves to stand on his feet and just look at you. He has a nasty cold right now and were fighting sleep at night but were making it through. He is also diagnoased with Reflux at birth as you all may know and he was put on Zantac for that. That is like the best miricle drug for a baby with ruflux. He usto spit up and scream everytime he ate and now that hes on that sometimes i dont even have to burp him and he is good! Like I said a MIRICLE drug. He is also tounge tied. Were going to watch it and see if it needs to be fixed or not. Right now its just slight but yeah. Its hard to believe he is already 2 months (9 weeks Friday) old and growing like a weed!

Xavier is his normal self. He is starting to not listen to mommy and only daddy and its offically making a mean mommy out of me. I have to dicipline him or he will never listen to me. We make it through the day though. I love my son and nothing not even his temper will change it! Were going on vacation with Dale and Joy in August and he wakes up every day and tells me that we need to bring grandpa the trailer today so we can go. Its going to be a long couple of months to wait for him but were going camping for memorial day weekend so that will be all fun for him!

The twins...growing like little weeds. They are going to be 2 next week thursday all ready. CRAZY how time flys! We had a birthday party for them with my mom and dad and they got little battery power quads and they love them. Its so fun to watch them grow up. Alydiah is my little mom...Kaiden crys and she is imideatly there at his side trying to "shove" the pippie in his mouth to quiet him down. Aly is into biting right now and were trying to break her of that. Elijah has a few marks on his body from her biting him. Elijah is my lil man...hes talking so good now and repeats everything that is said. He also loves to help mommy with Kaiden but not like Alydiah does. He and Xavier are into playing tractors so its fun to see them playing.

Willy and I are well too. Still living at mom and dads hopefully not too much longer but at least another 6-12 months. Willy is all healed up from his surgery and is finally back to work so that is awesome. Sometimes not so awesome because I loved having him home all the time for the help but thats ok the money is better. I am completly healed up too and trying to get myslef motivated to loose some weight but i have no motivation...I chase 3 kids around all day and deal with a baby on top of that...thats exercise right....???

Here it is! Well Friday March 6, 2009 My middle son Elijah was scheduled for Surgery at 7:00am in the morning at Allegan General hospital. He needed to have his tubes in his ears redone because the old ones fell out. So we went to the hospital and my sister Aimee went with us and she let Elijah play with her nintendo ds to keep him intertained because he could not eat nor drink before surgery. Well daddy was not thinking and came back with a pop and on the floor went Auntie Aim's ds and it broke. Thats the start of the whole thing. Elijah came out of surgery and was ok at first and then daddy gave him some fruit snacks and he wanted the whole package and we took it away from him and from then and 2 hours after we got home he SCREAMED. he was throwing such a fit he got himself out of his carseat in the car. So we got home and I was so frustrated with him screaming that started my contractions. I just figured they would go away because I had been having small contratctions for about 2 weeks before that. So I proceeded with my day and went to best buy to get Auntie Aim's nintendo ds replaced and I wanted to run over to michaels so I could get some stuff for my carseat last min put together things...but I told Aimee i did not feel like it so we continued on home. We got mostly home and I called Willy and told him he better call a sitter for the kids because were going to the hospital. My contractions were about 3 mins apart then and by the time I got home and into the hospital and admitted into a room in triage my contractions were 1 min apart and not stopping. I tried my hardest to stay calm but it was not working. We were admitted by 11:55am and Kaiden was born at 5:31pm so you can imagine 1 min apart contractions from then until 5:31pm i was exausted even though i had a csection I still went into labor and was dialiating in the mean time. Willy and I were worried becaue dr told me that I had a HUGE risk because my csection was so close that I could burst open and bleed to death if i went into labor so we were freaking out and dr got there at 300 or so and said ok were going to do the csec. So there were a couple ahead of me and then we went in! Thats my birth story.

While in the hospital I was diagnosed with puneoma so that was kinda a bummer and you can imagine coughing and being congested just after having a csection...man did that hurt really bad! But We made it through and were all doing well today. The kids all love Kaiden and they love to hold him and give him kisses. He was doing really well with breast feeding and really still is but I am not producing enough for him so we have to start supplementing with formula. So I am kinda bummed about that. The one time I wanted to breastfeed I cant get enough for him. But oh well whatever is best for him I guess.

we got home yesterday about 4:00 or somewhere around there. We had to wait until after 3 so that Kaiden's lab results would come back and so that I could have my last antibiotic. I have punemonia if you did not see or hear that I am not sure if I put that in my updates or not. I am on an antibiotic orally now instead of IV so hopefully that will go away in the next couple of days here. I have an appointment in 2 weeks for a check up. Kaiden's stuff all came back normal they figured his fast breathing is from Refulx. So now if he does not nurse off mommy i have to have pumped breast milk and we have to add barley cereal to it to thicken it up for his reflux. He has to be elevated all the time so that he does get sick. He sleeps in the cradle and its propped up for him.

Hello All!

Kaiden went back in to the nursery this afternoon because he started breathing very fast. So for precaution they ran a bunch of tests and blood work and took a chest xray to see what was going on. All of his blood work came back ok but there was some fluid on his lungs still. He is on an IV antiboitic with the iv in his little head because hes a bit dehydrated and could not get it into his veins. the antiboitcs are for precaution reasons. His blood will go down to the nicu downtown and they will monitor it for 48 hours to make sure not bacteria grows in it. The nurse said he is doing fine and is not requiring any oxygen to breath he is doing it all on his own. His pulse is good and the oxygen level is in the90s where it should be. The nurse thinks that he is already working the fluid out on his own because he will be really calm and not breathing fast at all and then he will start breathing fast again. So far hes doing good so I will keep everyone posted on him. He will be on the antiboitic until monday and if he does good tonight on his sugar water through the iv he can have breast milk again tomorrow and come be with willy and I and go back just to get his antiboitics. Prayers that he will work it out on his own and he will be able to come home with us on Monday! Thanks everyone!!!

34 Weeks and Counting!

Good Afternoon!

I have not update in a while on whats going on with us! Well to start Willy had another hernia surgery on Tuesday this week. Hes doing well hes home and feeling pretty good. He is bored because he can not do anything but sit in the chair. Hes in pain but that is to be expected.

Elijah is having surgery again for more tubes in both of his ears on March 6, 2009. The tubes he has currently are still there but not functioning so those are coming out and new ones in that are suppose to go into his ear deeper and be longer lasting. So hopefully he will stop being a miserable little guy in a few weeks here. The other kiddos are doing well. They are all over thier sickness so hopefully it stays away!

As for me....34 weeks today and counting. I am so ready for this baby to be here. He is a mover and does not allow mommy to get any sleep. I have been going in for non stress test every week for 3 weeks now. Yesterday's did not go so well but I have not heard from the doctor so apperantly hes not too worried. His heartrate did not accelerate when he moved around and it is suppose to jump high and go back to normal so she was concerned but she let me go and said she would talk to the doc. Hes growing well and heartrate is good so thats all that matters. The diabiaties is annoying though...My insulin gets upped evertime I go in there I am now up to 30 units in the morning and 25 at night and my numbers still run high so yeah. But other then that I am doing well just tired and trying to take care of myslef and my family so yeah!

Updates again!

Hello All:

I went to the doctor on Friday and got some more news. I now have to increase my insulin by 5 units everyday. I am now up to 25 units in the morning and 15 Units in the evening. So far the numbers are being controled. I have to go do NST (non stress tests) about every 2 weeks and ultrasounds to make sure baby is doing ok and growing ok in there. His heartbeat is 145 so still strong and doing well. I hate this we have a name for him but I am not allowed to tell anyone what it is...it was going to be Collin but we found a better name for him that fits with the other kiddos better! Thought I would give you an update....I have another appt of Friday this week and get all my fun stuff scheduled so I will keep u posted....Thanks for the prayers and concern!!!

Updates of my Pregnancy!

Well, I went to the doctor today and I have to be put on insolin. The numbers he had compared to the numbers the dietation had were different. I am going tomorrow to an appointment with a nurse to figure out how to inject myself. I have to have 2 shots one in the morning and one in the evening. I HATE needles and hope this is going to be as easy as it can be. I am gaining weight too fast and too much and he thinks the diabiates is the cause of it. Its not what I am eating because I am not eating nothing compared to what I was before I found out about this. Babys heartbeat was 150 today and kicking still so thats all good signs. So far so good! I have been doing the diet thing too and apparently its not doing what it needs to be doing to level my sugar levels. So hopefully all will go well and this is just a pregnancy thing and not a lifetime thing for me to have to deal with. Please keep me in your prayers if you think of it because this is going to be hard for me to have to do but I know I can do it!!! Thanks for Caring!!!

The Dreaded Gestational diabetes!

Yes I was offically diagnoased with Gestational Deabetes. My sugar levels were all above 160 for my 3 hour glucose test. So I had to go and meet with a dieatritionist yesterday. I am put on a special diet for now to see if we can control the levels. It really sucks for me though because the foods that I can eat are all foods that I do not really like for snacking. I feel like I am starving. I know it will take some getting usto but she says i have to eat something because they dont want me to loose weight. Well come on when I am lactose and can not have milk or milk products nor cheese its kinda hard on me. The foods I want to eat like my crackers and fruit and puddings I can not eat because its the starch and fruits that make my sugar sky rocket. I have to test my sugar levels 4 times a day. Once in the morning when i wake up which is a fasting check (this morning was 94 and needs to be under 102) once in the morning after breakfeast (this morning was 122 and needsd to be under 125) once in the afternoon 2 hours after lunch and once 2 hours after dinner. Please pray that I can handle this with diet otherwise I will have to give myself inslin injections until I can keep it under control....As of right now baby is doing well and growing well and so am I. Growing well yes I am....babys sticking right out front....LOL Jan 14 I have another apt with my Doctor to see if i need the insulin or not so we shall see....Thanks for caring and checking my blog!
